CHIMERA/ THE PERFORMANCE SCOREQUILT V1 · PUBLISHED 11 OCTOBER 2026

A COLLECTIVE GENERATIVE PERFORMANCE

We set the rules.
You make the composition.

CHIMERA is an unfolding record of exchange. Each successful trading transaction leaves one permanent square. Participation, repetition, automation and departure become visible in the same shared work.

The studio authors the score and palette. Participants determine when exchange happens and how much moves. The resulting composition has no predetermined image. The score gives participants no control over the marks already made.

01 / THE SCORE

One exchange.
One equal square.

  1. A successful, finalized transaction trading in the official CHM pool contributes exactly one square. Buys and sells have equal visual status.
  2. Its finalized chain timestamp selects one of twenty three-minute positions within the hour. Its gross SOL quote amount selects one of twenty published amount bands. Their intersection selects one of 400 fixed colors.
  3. Marks enter in finalized slot and transaction execution order, a hundred squares across, growing downward. Repeated colors remain repeated. No scarcity or rarity score is assigned.
  4. Multiple swaps in one transaction contribute one mark, using the sum of their gross quote amounts. Ordinary gifts, claims and failed transactions contribute none.
  5. A completed Companion buyback contributes one trading mark. Its receipt identifies it as an automated buyback and records SOL spent and CHM burned. A burn never erases history or adds a second mark.

THE PUBLIC RULE

Color is a lookup, not a judgment. A larger trade chooses an amount band; it does not buy a larger square. The time column repeats every hour.

Wallets are addresses, not verified people. One person can operate several wallets; a router or bot can submit transactions. The work makes no claim to count unique human participants.

Only the official pool is recorded. A router's transaction counts if it trades through that pool. Trading elsewhere does not automatically enter this quilt.

02 / HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Watch. Exchange.
Find your trace.

Witness

Viewing is free and requires no wallet. Follow new marks, enter the gallery, replay a passage or listen with optional sound. An archived palette study remains accessible from the footer and is labeled as simulated.

Contribute

An exchange through the verified CHM pool becomes part of the composition. Read the fee terms and current wallet quote first. There is no minimum artistic value, reward for extra trades or need to buy to experience the work.

Return

Use My Thread to find transactions associated with a public wallet. Inspect a square, follow its transaction and fee receipt, or share a passage. Selling does not remove earlier contributions.

The live record starts with the first finalized trades in the official pool. Every recorded mark stays part of the public work, including the opening trades. We do not clear the history to stage a cleaner opening.

03 / PATRONAGE

The work supports
its own making.

The confirmed nominal project allocations are 0.5% studio, 0.5% native holder rewards while eligible, and 0.5% for buyback and burn. The wallet cap is 2% of initial supply until graduation. Protocol charges and execution deductions are separate.

The native token hook enforces the cap and reward accounting. The native pool hook routes fees. The Companion collects its allocation and can execute bounded purchases and burns. The gallery renders their consequences without changing the score.

Fee collection, pending funds, completed purchases and actual payouts are different facts. The patronage ledger keeps them separate. A scheduled executor is not an AI agent; the current artwork is deterministic.

04 / TIME AND PRESERVATION

Every day closes.
The record continues.

Published editions keep their original scope, square counts and compositions. The October 11 and October 12 editions contain their respective day’s trades, exactly as originally published. From October 13, new full-quilt snapshots preserve all recorded trades through the midnight cutoff and state the day’s new additions separately. Quiet days carry the preceding quilt forward. A network delay postpones sealing; it does not invent missing marks.

Each edition includes its transactions, original positions, palette, rule and checksums. Full-quilt snapshots also include the fingerprints of the unchanged daily source records. JSON and SVG downloads let viewers keep a copy. The standalone reconstruction script checks either format and regenerates its print offline.

The image is computed off chain from on-chain events. Checksums establish consistency with an edition manifest, not independent proof of blockchain authenticity. Hosting is maintained infrastructure, not a promise of eternal availability.

05 / AUTHORSHIP AND CARE

A score we can
be held to.

CHIMERA studio publishes the rules, maintains the exhibition and receives the disclosed studio allocation. Participants compose the realized sequence through their actions. Token ownership does not confer exclusive ownership of the collective image or a promise of returns.

The v1 palette and mapping stay fixed for this performance. Any future artistic rule requires a separately named version and public explanation; it cannot silently recolor previous marks. Interpretations and selected passages remain separate from the source record.

The opening is the first public session of this ongoing work, followed by its first complete UTC edition. Its date will be announced after the real wallet and display checks. NFT distribution and an AI curator are future proposals, not active features.
